Brand new to taking my BP seriously. I am 34f, BMI of 39. I am convinced my weight has a lot to do with this.
Yesterday I had a routine physical in the afternoon and my BP was 142/90 at the doctors office. Nurse asked me if I'd ran there and I hadn't, this was just after getting out of an Uber.
This morning right after waking up I was 135/83 which seems to be my baseline. After doing some laundry I took it again and now I'm looking at the number in the photo.
My doc says I just need to exercise more and eat less salt, I already eat fairly well and I walk regularly especially because I have a desk job. She did not mention adding meds. I am also in the process of trying to conceive as well, and wondering if I should push to get on medication at this point.
