Job Hungry

Yo yo yo, friendly Redditers! So, I recently quit my teaching job after my fiance died abruptly, just because I kinda HAD to take a moment to get my bearings and not completely fall apart as a person. Now I'm back on the job market and trying to sell myself as basically a highly intelligent and competent person who can be quickly trained to do just about anything, and I'm super responsible, etc etc.

It's hard, especially because I have no desire to ever set foot in a classroom again. Ideally, I'd like to be on the admin support side of a local music corp or venue(s) just to be around that scene, but I have no idea where to start looking outside of the most basic job searches though indeed or what have you.

Anyone out there know of any opportunities or have any secret advice to breaking into even like batrending at a place like that or whatever?

It can be hard to convince people that I can learn how to do other things after teaching, which is funny because it has to be one of the hardest jobs in existence. Even though I've done plenty of admin work before across different sectors.

NOTE: Telling me to wander around looking for help wanted signs is NOT the kind of "secret" advice I'm looking for here. This is kind of vital for me rn, so sarcastics need not apply.

Thanks, y'all!
